Leo K.K. Wong

- Qualified as Medical Doctor from the Faculty of Medicine, the University of Hong Kong (MBBS, Hong Kong), and practised as a Physician in Hong Kong government hospitals.
Started private medical practice in 1971 and qualified as FRCP (London, Edinburgh & Glasgow), FCPHK and FHKAM. Retired in 2006 - 1966

- Served at leading Hong Kong photographic societies in various capacities including Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Hong Kong 35mm Photographic Society, President of the Photographic Salon Exhibitors Association, advisor to various photographic societies, proficiency examination judge and international salon judge
In the 1970s, participated in the International Salon Exhibitions in the monochrome as well as colour prints divisions and ranked among the world’s top ten photographers for nine years – first in four years, second in three years, third in one year and fourth in another year - 1976

- Became friends with the late Chinese painter Zhu Qizhan and was greatly influenced by Zhu's consummate use of colour and light, as well as the way in which his expressiveness was achieved through individuality, strength and conciseness

- Organised PHOTO GEM, an exhibition held at the Hong Kong City Hall that marked nearly half a century of achievements of the members of the Photographic Salon Exhibitors Association. A catalogue was printed and the exhibits were subsequently donated to the Hong Kong Museum of Art
- 2001
- Organised exhibition VISION BEYOND – Hong Kong Art Photography 1900-2000, which along with a catalogue, documented a century of photography in Hong Kong. All works and related historical materials were donated to the Hong Kong Heritage Museum

- Spoke at a forum entitled "Hong Kong Art Photography 1900-2000" at the "Vision Beyond-Hong Kong Art Photography International Forum". The other distinguished speakers were Mr. John Page, President of the Royal Photographic Society of Great Britain; Dr. Albert Sieg, President of Photographic Society of America; Mr. Joan Burgues, Vice-president of the International Federation of Photographic Art and Mr. Gao Fan, Chairman of the Chinese Photographers Association

- Received venue sponsorship from the Leisure and Cultural Services Department of the HKSAR Government to host a solo exhibition at the Exhibition Gallery of the Hong Kong Central Library. Conducted two talks and printed a catalogue entitled "Poetic Images"
